As Horticulture and Garden Centre operations teachers at HAECC, Denise Chavez and Sabina Tigges know that their work positively impacts the lives of their students and families, but a few days spent on a humanitarian trip in San Jose de Ocoa (Dominican Republic) gave a whole new dimension to the word “purpose”.
