School spirit is alive and well at HAECC. Our welcome back BBQ took place earlier this week for our staff and students from all of our programs (Sunshine Camp, Adult Ed, Horticulture and CEGEP) along with our community partners. Approximately 160 people were served hot dogs and hamburgers that were cooked by some of our adult education students. Our Sunshine Class cut and prepared all of the veggies and dip as well as baking the desserts.
The beauty of the BBQ is not only the food and camaraderie… but mostly how everyone pitches in to help out. That’s how we roll at HAECC – One big happy family!
