The Huntingdon Adult Education & Community Centre (HAECC) is proud to announce a new partnership with Cardio Actifs from the Haut-Saint-Laurent. Cardio Actifs is a local organization which helps promote physical activity for people with heart disease and those at risk as well as the general population. The organization has been running for over 10 years. The group started out with a small fitness room offering programs to the public and has now expanded into offering structured fitness classes.
Now that Cardio Actifs has come together with Huntingdon Fitness & HAECC, they have extended their staff to offer daytime and evening classes. Classes currently being offered in Huntingdon are: spinning, Jazz step, Yoga, Zumba & Cardio step.
Classes kicked off the beginning of January and have been growing ever since, swing by HAECC any night of the week to see what activities are going on. Tuesday and Thursday there are daytime classes and every night of the week there is something different for everyone. Don’t expect to drive by HAECC and see the parking lot empty, the place is booming with evening activities and classes!
HAECC and Cardio Actifs are working hard to respond to the community’s needs and wants, if you have any suggestions or are interested in taking a class please give us a call!
