Our New Addition at CVCEC

Last fall was the start of an exciting build, the extension of our existing shop for the Carpentry Department at CVCEC. Unfortunately the early arriving and long cold winter, delayed the completion of the extension by a couple months as the ground went into a deep freeze. But now summer is here and the building is complete. We are now so excited to have a beautiful dome shaped building all made of tin. Which includes a 8000 square feet of indoor work space, that’s massive! A 20 foot tall ceiling, two large 18×16 garage doors and a 7 inch insulated concrete slab with efficient radiant water tubing for heat. This is State of the Art ! For students and teachers this means a lot of fun and more room and huge potential for learning. We can’t wait for the next semester to come !
