A couple of week ago, I received a phone call from a one hundred year old lady asking to have a perm done at the Nova hairdressing salon.
The lady said that she could walk with the help of a cane and a walker. Over the phone, she told me that it was too bad that she could no longer ride her Harley Davidson (with a side car) or her Chevy Citation anymore. We offered, along with two students, to pick her up and the rest was history.
Ms. Kathy (hairdressing teacher and queen of perms) gave this very dear customer a beautiful perm. We were all enthralled by her clear mind, her wit and charming ways.
We hope to see this customer again in the near future!
