The Government of Canada suggests that the best way of preventing the spread of influenza is by getting a flu vaccine every year, especially for people who are at risk and for those who work within the health care field.
As a teacher within the health care program at CVCEC, I made an appointment for my influenza vaccine. I arrived at my rendez-vous and lo and behold, not one but two of our very own CVCEC Alumni from the Health, Assistance and Nursing Program were sitting patiently at their stations, waiting for me to choose who would be the fortunate one to stab their former teacher in the arm.
To quote Alfred Hitchcock, “Revenge is sweet and not fattening”.
It’s heartwarming to see our former students working in their field of expertise. By the way, Good Job Chrystal Beare, I didn’t feel a thing!
