Sydney completed the Soutien aux soins d'assistance dans les centres de soins de longue durée à la Centre d'éducation des adultes et de formation professionnelle NOVA and has been working at a local CHSLD (centres d’hébergement de soins de longue durée). With the support from the Procédure des CCR and her persistence, Sydney was able to demonstrate the work experience she had gained on the job in order to meet the requirements for her full Diploma in Vocational Studies (DVS) in Assistance à la personne en établissement et à domicile.
We’re excited to see what career opportunities Sydney will have now that she meets to requirements to work in a wider environment.
