Sydney completed the Soutien aux soins d'assistance dans les centres de soins de longue durée à la Centre de carrière NOVA and has been working at a local CHSLD (centres d’hébergement de soins de longue durée). With the support from the Procédure des CCR and her persistence, Sydney was able to demonstrate the work experience she had gained on the job in order to meet the requirements for her full Diploma in Vocational Studies (DVS) in Assistance aux institutions et aux soins à domicile.
We’re excited to see what career opportunities Sydney will have now that she meets to requirements to work in a wider environment.
