Students that have succeeded in the carpentry program at C.V.C.E.C. could say that this centre is not only about learning curriculum but also about getting them ready for the next steps.
All of the teachers are from different spheres of the trade, bringing a wide variety of experience and know-how that is shared with our students. From Contractor to Cabinet maker, Architect to Builder/Renovator, building on site and pre-fab, It is years of experience brought together to help the students through the 19 competencies of the program.
Students will be offered a recognised certification for Aerial lift along with protection against fall, during their school year; they will also be offered certification for Forklift.
These are “an added plus” for their resumes, when they go out looking for jobs.
