Horticulture + Hospital, a great team

On February 23, at minus one million degrees, we visited the Huntingdon Hospital to take care of the tropical plants in their brand new solarium. This has been an ongoing project for the Horticulture Department. We donated a bunch of tropical plants last year when the solarium was still under construction, and now that it is completed we decided to pay a visit. The students were busy cleaning, watering, pruning and moving plants. The staff and residents were very welcoming and grateful for our help in the project. It was a great day for all, and only five minutes away from the school. Sometimes you really don’t have to look very far.
