Last week our Sunshine Class (at HAECC) organized two special events. A Halloween party and a Baby & Mom visit. Students planned and organized the entire events; they created the invitations, made lists of materials and bought the food, went shopping, cooked and prepared the lunch and snacks, created decorations and decorated the school and classroom, managed the entire budget given for the events, searched, selected and downloaded music, made out a list of games to play and also created a special present to give to the baby (Tie Blanket ). They also did a great job making sure everything was cleaned up after the party including doing the dishes! Both activities were a great success!
