New Frontiers to build a Habitat House!
At the New Frontiers School Board (NFSB), we look to the future in technology and innovation, providing outstanding state-of-the-art education to both our youth and adult students. As we move forward, we remain aware of our rich history and the role we have taken in supporting our families and communities throughout the years. Keeping all that in mind, we have some exciting news. . . we will be building a New Frontiers Habitat House; a semi-detached, LEED-certified Habitat for Humanity House in Ormstown for two families! Be sure to check our first video episode of Our House/Notre Maison.
Our Chateauguay Valley Career Education Centre (CVCEC) Carpentry Program will take the lead in this project, called the “Our House” project. They will be joined by many other vocational students and teachers, both from NFSB and neighbouring school boards. This project is a joint venture between NFSB, the Municipality of Ormstown, Écohabitation (LEED), and Habitat for Humanity (province of Quebec).
What is Ecohabitation-LEED
