Here is a sneak peek on what our advanced group in the Interior Decorating program is doing in the Visual Display component. Last week, the students individually proposed their ideas for a fictional flower exhibition as part of their Competency 19 Special Events final project. Each student created a floral themed company and proposed sketches, a to-scale model, CAD drawings, budgets, logos and written instructions on how to build their exhibit booth. As a class we chose 2 out of the 20 proposed exhibits to be built to full scale. The students have started building and will have the two finished and installed in our main work shop by the end of the month. Can you guess which ones we choose??
