Helen Symonds turned 103-years old last week! Yes, 103-years old! She came to the Hairdressing department at the NOVA Career Centre (not her first visit, by any means) to get pampered by our staff and students. She gets the full ‘NOVA Hair Salon’ experience, as the only customer on-site during her visits. While she may feel privileged to get the star treatment, is it our students who are honoured to give Ms. Symonds a very special day during her birthday celebrations. Ms. Symonds, you are an inspiration every time you come and visit, your wisdom, insights and humour inspire our students from the moment you step into our salon.
