Finding jobs and community belonging. HAECC’s first try at an employment fair was a success! Uniting 15 different community partners and regional companies, the employment fair was a great opportunity for job seekers to meet with the different employers of the region.
Arising from HAECC’s initiative to paint a portrait of the regional job opportunities, the employment fair showcased local employers of the Haut-Saint-Laurent region. The event was also linked with the Horticulture & Garden Centre Operations bi-annual plant sale, as well as the “Boutique Tous” Sale. Many community members had the chance to discover organizations that they weren’t aware of while asking questions and networking.
