In mid-June, we had the privilege of having students from Melissa’s Sunshine Camp visit our school. The day was full of laughter and fun. Melissa’s Sunshine Camp is a non-profit organization based out of our Huntingdon Centre, HAECC, which works with people 21-years and over who have an intellectual or physical disabilities living in the Haut-Saint-Laurent region. Our Health Care students were eager to learn all about what they do at the Centre and their students where in turn very excited to learn about CVCEC.
What an exceptional day, as students from both Centres were so involved and engaged in the day’s activities. Partnerning up with such wonderful people is extremely enriching and fosters one of our main goals of life-long learning opportunities.
