The teachers and students of the Landscaping program have worked on several projects at NFSB schools. Maintenance of grounds and planting areas were completed at Gault Institute, St-Willibrord School and Community Learning Centre and Centennial Park School. At HAECC a gravel driveway was constructed and a lawn area renovated. The construction of a concrete walkway at St. Willibrord Elementary School was completed just as the season for outdoor work came to an end. The opportunity to apply the theory learned in the classroom to actual work sites is enriching and motivating for the students and teachers.
