Again this year, we hosted a visit from students from the PASS program.
The Providing Alternative Student Support (PASS) program is a pilot project that focuses on providing additional academic and social support to some students. Their trips to NOVA, both a tour of the facility and student for the day, helped them discover what programs are available and which are well suited to their strengths and abilities.
This year, visits were made in Interior Decorating and Visual Display, Hairdressing and Automotive Mechanics, amongst others. Some students were really good at some work they were introduced to! Maybe we will see them back here in the next few years as NOVA students!
