Sydney completed the Support for Assistive Care in Long-Term Care Centres at the NOVA Career Centre and has been working at a local CHSLD (centres d’hébergement de soins de longue durée). With the support from the RAC process and her persistence, Sydney was able to demonstrate the work experience she had gained on the job in order to meet the requirements for her full Diploma in Vocational Studies (DVS) in Institutional and Home Care Assistance.
We’re excited to see what career opportunities Sydney will have now that she meets to requirements to work in a wider environment.
