So, the cats out of the bag. We’ve officially announced our massive social change project: Trade it Forward. But what would a social change project be without a little social.
On Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 12 pm, we’re inviting everyone to join us at Petch Orchards for the best apple picking day of the season. There will be a mess of people, music, fun games, and the start of the first golden object search.
We’re going to place a golden trowel somewhere in the orchard and you could be the lucky person that finds it. If you do, and you’re willing to get involved and Trade it Forward, we will gladly give you the $1000 thank you prize.
But, that’s not all. Tim Petch, owner of Petch Orchards will be donating $5 for every 20lb bag of apples sold that day back to the Chateauguay Valley Regional High School Sports Program.
