Be sure to come and stop by the NOVA Career Centre on Saturdays as “Les Marchés Savourez Roussillon” takes center stage in the NOVA parking lot. Local food producers will tantalize your taste buds with their tasty, healthy and natural goods for sale. The market allows an opportunity for local food providers to sell their goods and also build awareness for their business with the goal of improving economic development in our area. It showcases such goods as: fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese and other dairy products, specialty meats, freshly baked breads and desserts just to name a few. The New Frontiers school board also has a booth set-up for those who have any vocational or adult education training questions, so don’t be shy to come and see us.
“Les Marchés Savourez Roussillon” is a project spearheaded by the CLD Roussillon (Centre local de développement Roussillon) and the city of Chateauguay as they’ve partnered with NFSB and the NOVA Career Centre in order maximize the visibility of the market and host it in the city centre area. The market runs every Saturday starting in July all the way to October 19th between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, 70 Maple Street.
