Pink Shirt Day

PINK SHIRT DAY at schools and centres of the New Frontiers School Board.

February 25th, 2015 is National Stand Up Against Bullying Day. Together we can take a stand against bullying. Pink Shirt Day aims to stop bullying one person at a time! NFSB schools embraced this day and proudly wore Pink in an attempt to support anti-bullying efforts across the nation.

The idea came about at a high school in Nova Scotia eight years ago.  Travis Price was in grade 12 back then and a student three years younger was being bullied on the first day of school simply for wearing a pink shirt, and that didn’t sit well with Mr. Price and his friend David Shepherd.
