Holiday season extravaganza * SANTA CLAUS arrives at 5:00 PM / Activities are free in English and French.
Come and take part in fun activities while learning about local community and public organizations based in our region that are here to help you and your family.
Proposed activities:
• Create Christmas cards for those in need with la Rencontre Châteauguoise
• Helpful hints on gift wrapping, holiday decoration and greeting cards
• Stress and anxiety workshop (done by a CLSC professional)
• Over 20 local community and/or governmental organizations on-site with information tables
• And a Dance performance by Irish Dancers!
Other services available
• Free daycare service
• Spaghetti dinner for only $2
• Between neighbours “idea board” – if you have things to sell, local community ideas, babysitting services, etc.
What is Community Wednesday?
It’s an event not to be missed for everyone in the community, the first Wednesday of the month: children, youth, adults, come alone or with your family, everyone is welcome! In a friendly atmosphere, come and learn about available local services and activities, spend some family time together and meet new people.
