July 7th, 2020, we began a partnership that will last. The Eastern Door and NOVA Career Centre will be working together to increase our understanding and appreciation of the Mohawk Language. Through our support for Promoting the Mohawk language in print and online, the Eastern Door and NOVA committed to work together to teach and share the beautiful words of our neighbours from Kahnawake this Fall at NOVA. Thank you to Curran Jacobs, our wonderful Indigenous Resource Teacher, her work in the Sken:en Centre at Nova is amazing. A huge thank you to Steve Bonspiel (The Eastern Door) for his interest in working with us and his incredible community spirit. We look forward to making a change that will last and help our communities move forward together.
