We’re running a special Trade it Forward holiday contest and celebrating the trades people who make beautiful things.
Our TIF it to WIN it contest invites people to submit a Trade it Forward project through our TIF website. The project with the most votes as of January 14, 2015 will win the beautiful handmade barn wood coffee table from La Vieille Planche (LVP) and a chance at $500.
LVP are self described “Lovers of Wood” and have seen a massive explosion of popularity since their launch in 2012. Spend a little time on their Facebook page and you get a taste for how much people love their product lines.
All of their barn wood furniture is made from materials salvaged from farms across the province of Quebec. Most of the wood traces back to the 1800’s, aging naturally and acquiring the natural character of beautiful weathered wood.

LVP is committed to working with local materials. Because they are salvaging wood, their process is 100% sustainable. This means that no virgin forests are cut down through their building process and every piece of wood is fully recycled.
