The W.O.R.K. students are taking a break from the classroom and involving themselves in their community. Every Monday, they are at the Vice Versa seniors residence where they volunteer for most of the day. Here are Kemi and Anthony; they help serve lunch to the residents while the other students assist in Bingo games, maintenance work, and getting the centre ready for the holidays! The students are not only learning skills while volunteering at Vice Versa, these skills are now transferable to the workplace – their participation also puts an appreciative smile on the residents’ faces.
