I would like to know why students have to choose between music, art, drama and dance as their selectives? My son fits into neither of those courses, interest-wise and therefore will be punished by failing them. I think the school should also have course such as wood working, mecahnics and robotics like they used to. And NOT only available through Nova! I don’t think it’s fair to subject students to courses that will have no bearing on their future after they graduate. How many professional dancers, actors, musicians and artists have come from HSB? There is a much better chance for students to be involved in a professional trade as opposed to performing on broadway. It’s a real shame!! I think the courses should be equal and not geared strictly towards the arts!
