September has arrived and that means it’s the time of year where teachers and students are returning back to school or taking on new and exciting adventures. In our three adult centres, HAECC, CVCEC and NOVA, we have students returning back and new students starting in academics, programs designed for adults with special needs and our 15 different vocational programs!
A special welcome to all our new adult students starting in our vocational programs. You have all decided to embark on a journey, in which you will learn new skills for life. In our vocational programs, we also welcome close to 30 new international students joining us from France, India, China, among other countries. These students joining us from abroad have expressed their excitement in coming to learn in our vocational centres. On their first day at Nova, we asked a few new students to express their thoughts on studying a vocational program in Canada.
