W.O.R.K. Program @ NOVA Career Centre – “Working towards Occupational Readiness and Knowledge”
Through classroom work, one-on-one guidance, and work study opportunities in businesses matched to your career goals, our W.O.R.K. Program will give you the skills you need to get your dream job!
September to May: Mon-Thurs – 8:15-3:30 / Friday – 8:15 to 11:30
Tuition: Free – Pay only minimal costs for materials.

- Choosing an Occupation
- Job Search Tools
- Job Interview
- Time Management
- Workplace Interactions
- Personal & Social Development
A work study is part of the program! You will learn real-world skills in a business you are interested in. Work study opportunities may include:
- Retail cashier
- Grocery store clerk
- Warehouse worker
- Hair salon assistant
- Food service helper
