Hello future Carpentry students. You may already know that CVCEC offers a Carpentry program, but did you know that the course consists of 19 modules with a total of 1350 hours. You could learn every facet of Carpentry in as little as 12-months.
Here are some of the skills you can learn:
Basic carpentry skills
Reading building plans
Understanding structural layout
Worksite safety and standards
A DEP (90 credits – Diplôme d’études professionnelles) is waiting for you! All books and tools are included in the price of $740.00, all you need to bring are your steel toed, CSA approved, boots.
Experienced and competent teachers, as well as an amazing support staff, are ready to guide you through your journey.
You and your classmates will build small projects that can be brought home, such as a cabinet equipped with drawers.
Also, you and your fellow classmates will be required to build an 8’ X 12’ garden shed from scratch. This will allow you to incorporate many of your newly learned skills into one project.
Did I mention that CVCEC also sells these garden sheds for $1800.00 + tax, to the general public!!!
